An app-ads.txt is a standardized file that app developers and publishers use to publicly declare the authorized sellers of their in-app ad inventory. It helps prevent unauthorized or fraudulent selling of ad space within mobile apps, promoting transparency and accountability in the digital advertising ecosystem.
1. Sign in to your Gmail account to access your Blogspot or create a new Blogspot account. The Blogspot link is: https://blogger.com/
Note: If you're new to Blogspot, sign up with your Gmail, and the process will guide you to enter your personal details and blog name. This will lead you to your blog dashboard. If you already have a Blogspot account, it will direct you to your blog dashboard.
2. Navigate to Blogspot "Settings," scroll down to find the "Monetization" option. Under it, locate "Enable custom ads.txt" and enable this feature. In the "Custom ads.txt" section, paste the ads.txt text generated by AdMob and submit.
Important: If you're unsure how to obtain the generated AdMob ads.txt text, follow these steps:
1. After adding your app in AdMob and linking it to your app in the Play Store or another store, click on "Apps" and then "View All Apps."
2. In the new window, select "app-ads.txt" and click on the "How to set up app-ads.txt" button.
3. Skip (only if you wanna host it in Blogspot) the instructions for setting up "app-ads.txt" on your website; just copy the generated app-ads.txt text and paste it following the Blogspot tutorial above #. Your setup is now finished.
paste it in address bar, if its shows the same app-ads.txt text you copied from AdMob then its went successfully but if it shows something else then it did not went through successfully
